Good Deeds Charity USA is based in Saint Paul Minnesota, now working in Ethiopia and Kenya.
It was established by a group of American Muslims in 2009 to address problems of illiteracy, poverty and tribal conflicts in African countries as well as to promote or enhance understanding of the Islamic faith as means of peace mission and advocacy for social justice.
our philosophy is that we all win when we cooperate and work together, to maintain peace in our communities, to look after the weakest amongst us, and take good care of our planet Earth, by protecting its resources (like water, wildlife, forests and air.) Regardless our faith, language, color of our skin, or the place where we live, our basic needs are the same.
We all need food, shelter, education, physical safety, and spiritual fulfillment. These are core needs that Good Deeds Charity USA is established to address. We call this nurturing body with food, mind with education, and soul with faith. All of these are not possible without the presence of peace.
That is why we are making it our first priority to make peace between all stakeholders wherever we operate. This is very critical specially in African countries where poverty, illiteracy, and conflicts have been major problems for centuries, and have become unending cycles that impede education and economic progress in these regions. Most of our members are from these regions and are deeply committed to finding lasting solutions for these problems.
We are also equally committed to building bridges of peace and understanding between Muslim communities and non-Muslims here in United States and in other countries where we operate.
